Pendle Pub Walk

After the threat of a rainy weekend, the weather managed to hold off for all those completing the 2022 Pendle Pub Walk: a charitable 15 mile walk on behalf of Pendleside Hospice with some boozy stop-offs along the way.

Pendleside Hospice exists to enhance the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses. The hospice helps provide specialist care for each individual patient. However, the wonderful workers at Pendleside rely on donations every year to continue their amazing day-to-day endeavours.

The Pendle Pub Walk is one of Pendleside’s biggest annual fundraising events with thousands putting on their walking boots to help out. We took part in the event as part of the Corporate Challenge. Business Helpline will be raising as much money as possible for the hospice from June all the way through to September.

Despite the worn out legs and pounding heads, the event was a roaring success and everybody at Business Helpline had a great time. Lots of money was raised on behalf of a wonderful charity and we were pleased to play our part in that fundraise.
